Dorothy Lynch Beef Taco Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 (1.25-oz.) package taco seasoning mix

  • 1 head iceberg lettuce - rinsed, dried and shredded

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 3 cups shredded Cheddar-Monterey Jack cheese blend

  • 2 tomatoes, chopped

  • 4 oz. crushed tortilla chips

  • 1 c. Dorothy Lynch Home Style

Number of Servings: 8

Cooking Instructions

Brown hamburger in a large, deep skillet. Drain. Add taco seasoning mix and 1/4 cup of Dorothy Lynch Home Style. Refrigerate to cool. In a large bowl, combine the lettuce, onion, bell pepper, cheese, beef and tomatoes. Add remaining 3/4 cup Dorothy Lynch Home Style (or enough to coat well) and refrigerate. Stir in crushed tortilla chips just before serving.
