Dorothy’s Sweet and Spicy Fish Marinade

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. Dorothy Lynch Home Style
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 T. hot sauce
  • 1 T. minced garlic

Number of Servings: 2

Cooking Instructions

Place ingredients in bowl or Ziploc® bag. Mix thoroughly and submerge fish completely. Marinate for 15 minutes to a half an hour. (Mayonnaise is very effective in reducing the smell of fish while cooking.) When using tuna steaks about 1-inch thick, cook tuna over medium-high heat for approximately 3 minutes per side. Depending on the grade of the tuna it is generally good to keep a pink center, however it is OK to cook the tuna until completely done. Serve this over a vegetable medley with side of mashed yams. The general rule of cooking fish is 10 minutes per 1-inch thickness. Use this rule when cooking other types of fish for this recipe.
