Stuffed Pears

3 large ripe pears
Lemon juice
2 red dessert apples, cored and diced, but not peeled
2-3 stalks celery, diced
1 can crabmeat
1 T onion, finely chopped
1 T parsley, chopped
DOROTHY LYNCH HOME STYLE DRESSING

Wipe the pears, but do not peel them. Cut in halves, removing the cores, and scooping out some of the flesh. Brush the pear halves with lemon juice. Put the scooped out flesh into a bowl and add apples, celery, crabmeat, onion, parsley and DOROTHY LYNCH HOME STYLE DRESSING to moisten. Mix well and check the seasonings.

Spoon mixture into the pear halves, arrange on a bed of lettuce, and garnish with thin slices of unpeeled apple brushed with lemon juice.
