Waldorf Salad

Ingredients

  • 4 med. apples
  • 1 T. lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1/2 c. halved seedless green grapes
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 c. raisins
  • 1/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c. Dorothy Lynch Home Style
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. whipping cream
  • Ground nutmeg

Cooking Instructions

Core and dice apples to make about 4 cups. In a large bowl, sprinkle apples with 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Combine with celery, grapes, walnuts and raisins. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and Dorothy Lynch Home Style with 1/2 tsp. lemon juice. In another bowl, whip cream until small peaks form. Combine with mayonnaise mixture. Spoon over fruit and sprinkle lightly with nutmeg. Cover and chill. Before serving, mix ingredients thoroughly.
