Ingredients
- Dorothy’s Sweet and Spicy Fish Marinade
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 2 T. hot sauce
- 1 T. minced garlic

- Serves: 2
The Method
- Place ingredients in bowl or Ziploc® bag. Mix thoroughly and submerge fish completely.
- Marinate for 15 minutes to a half an hour. (Mayonnaise is very effective in reducing the smell of fish while cooking.)
- When using tuna steaks about 1-inch thick, cook tuna over medium-high heat for approximately 3 minutes per side. (Depending on the grade of the tuna it is generally good to keep a pink center, however it is OK to cook the tuna until completely done.)
- Serve this over a vegetable medley with side of mashed yams.
- The general rule of cooking fish is 10 minutes per 1-inch thickness. Use this rule when cooking other types of fish for this recipe.
