Can you? Can you?! Honey, Dorothy Lynch is a dip superstar. Veggies, chips, fries—you could dip your whole meal in it if you wanted. No judgment here.

How to Dorothy

Oh, sweetie, salads are just the beginning! Drizzle it on pizza, mix it into pasta salad, use it in marinades—heck, some folks even put it on tacos. Go wild!

How to Dorothy

Freshness is key, my dear. Every bottle is stamped with a nine-month shelf life, but let’s be honest—it won’t last that long in your fridge.

Ahh, the nostalgia! We switched to plastic in 2010, and here’s why—it’s lighter, it’s safer (no more broken bottles), and that wide mouth makes pouring a dream. Plus, if you’ve got little hands in the kitchen, they’ll have an easier time helping.

Our Story

Oh, you mean Light & Lean? Yeah, we just gave it a new name and a fresher look. Same great taste, new packaging. You know, when something works, you don’t mess with it too much.

Our Sauces

Dorothy started making it for her local Legion Club, and it was such a hit that they decided the rest of the world needed a taste. In 1964, Gordon “Mac” Hull took it to the big leagues, and now here we are, still making taste buds happy all these years later.

Our Story

Yes! Our decades-old recipe relies on the flavors of tangy tomato and our unique blend of spices to achieve that beloved Dorothy Lynch taste.

Oh, honey, it tastes like a hug from your favorite aunt—the one who always brings the good potato salad to the picnic. It’s sweet, it’s tangy, it’s got a little zip, and it’s so thick and creamy you’ll be looking for things to dunk in it. Some folks say it tastes homemade, and well, they’re right.

How to Dorothy

Nope. Most French dressings are oil-based, and Dorothy Lynch is tomato-based. That’s like comparing a sturdy Midwest farmhouse to a fancy Parisian loft—totally different foundations.

Our Sauces

Let’s put it this way: no MSG, no cholesterol, and no trans fats. The fat, saturated fat, and sodium levels are lower than a lot of those so-called “light” dressings. And our Light & Lean version? Even better. Plus, it’s gluten-free, so our celiac friends can enjoy it.

Our Sauces

It is! As of 2025, all of our recipes are made with beet sugar.  We don’t use any animal products in our recipes, and this change brings us one step closer to our commitment to more thoughtful sourcing.

Tomato soup, soybean oil, vinegar, sugar, spices, and a little magic.

Our Sauces

Home Style is the full-flavored classic, while Light & Lean is the same deliciousness with fewer calories. Either way, your taste buds win.

Our Sauces

Right where she belongs—Nebraska! Every bottle is made and bottled in Duncan, Nebraska (population: 388, and probably half of ‘em have Dorothy Lynch in their fridge). From there, it’s shipped all over the country, spreading Midwest magic one bottle at a time.

Our Story

From Dorothy Lynch herself—the legend, the myth, the lady who whipped up this masterpiece back in the 1940s for Legion Club members in St. Paul, Nebraska.
