Ingredients
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1/3 c. Dorothy Lynch
- 2 1/4 c. water
- 1 tsp. onion or garlic powder
- 1 tsp. dried mustard
- 1 T. dill
- 2 c. elbow macaroni or shells (uncooked)
- 1 (8-oz) pkg. soft processed cheese cut into 1/2 inch cubes
- 1 sm. can french fried onions
- Prep time: 10 Minutes
- Cook time: 20 Minutes
- Serves: 4
The Method
- Brown meat in a large skillet.
- Drain off grease.
- Add water, Dorothy Lynch, onion or garlic powder, mustard, and dill.
- Mix well.
- Bring to a boil.
- Stir in pasta and cover.
- Simmer on medium-low heat for 8 to 10 min, or until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.
- Add cheese and stir in until melted.
- Top each serving with french-fried onions
Note: You also fry up some bacon, crumble it, and add it with the cheese.
