Dave’s Nightmare Bacon Cheeseburger

Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground sirloin
- 4 slices bacon, cooked
- 4 slices American cheese
- 8 slices Texas toast
- Chefs Secret Seasoning
- Dorothy Lynch
- 1 onion, diced (half uncooked & half sautéed)
- Prep time: 10 Minutes
- Cook time: 15 Minutes

The Method
- I prefer to cook on a charcoal or wood fire grill, but you can also cook in a fry pan.
- Mix half of the diced onion and the ground sirloin in a bowl.
- Make into four large patties.
- Season each side with Chef’s Secret Seasoning and place on the grill.
- Sear grill marks in and then place off direct heat to allow the smoke flavor to set in.
- As burgers are cooking, butter the slices of Texas toast and place butter side down on the grill.
- Place a cheese slice, bacon slice, and sautéed onion on each burger and drizzle with Dorothy Lynch to taste.
- Put the burger together and enjoy. Goes well with potato salad.
