Dorothy Lynch Beef Taco Salad

Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 (1.25-oz.) package taco seasoning mix
- 1 head iceberg lettuce – rinsed, dried and shredded
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 3 cups shredded Cheddar-Monterey Jack cheese blend
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 4 oz. crushed tortilla chips
- 1 c. Dorothy Lynch Home Style
- Prep time: 20 Minutes

The Method
- Brown hamburger in a large, deep skillet.
- Drain.
- Add taco seasoning mix and 1/4 cup of Dorothy Lynch Home Style.
- Refrigerate to cool.
- In a large bowl, combine the lettuce, onion, bell pepper, cheese, beef and tomatoes.
- Add remaining 3/4 cup Dorothy Lynch Home Style (or enough to coat well) and refrigerate.
- Stir in crushed tortilla chips just before serving.
