Dorothy Lynch Boneless Buffalo Wings

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs. chicken tenderloins
  • 12 oz. Dorothy Lynch
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 T. black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 8 oz. buttermilk
  • Prep time: 25 Minutes
  • Cook time: 1 Hour
  • Serves: 6

The Method

  1. Cut each chicken tenderloin into 2-3 bite-sized pieces.
  2. Place pieces in a bowl.
  3. Mix egg and buttermilk together.
  4. Pour over chicken pieces and let sit 10-15 minutes.
  5. Mix flour and black pepper in a large Ziploc® bag.
  6. Add chicken pieces and toss to coat.
  7. Heat oil in a skillet.
  8.  Brown chicken pieces for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  9. Remove chicken from the skillet.
  10. Drain on paper towels before placing in a rectangular baking dish.
  11. Melt butter in a saucepan, then stir in Dorothy Lynch.
  12. Cook and stir until combined, then pour over chicken pieces.
  13. Cover baking dish with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes.

Note: This is a great alternative for those who love to eat wings but want to avoid the extra heat!
