Grilled Chicken with Dorothy Lynch

Ingredients
  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1 (16-oz.) bottle Dorothy Lynch
  • Prep time: 3 Hours
  • Cook time: 45 Minutes
  • Serves: 4

The Method

  1. Cut up chicken, or if you prefer, use your favorite chicken pieces.
  2. Put chicken in a bowl big enough to hold them.
  3. Pour enough Dorothy Lynch over the pieces to completely cover them.
  4. Marinade at least a few hours, the longer the better.
  5. I use a covered grill and try to maintain the temperature from 275 to 300 degrees.
  6. Cook for 20 to 30 minutes, and then turn.
  7. Baste with remaining dressing from bowl.
  8. Cook another 15 to 20 minutes and check.
  9. Cook to an internal temperature of 175 degrees.
  10. Baste each time pieces are turned.
