Ingredients
- 3 lg. ripe pears
- Lemon juice
- 2 red dessert apples, cored and diced, but not peeled
- 2 to 3 stalks celery, diced
- 1 sm. can crabmeat
- 1 T. onion, finely chopped
- 1 T. parsley, chopped

The Method
- Wipe the pears, but do not peel them.
- Cut in halves, removing the cores, and scooping out some of the flesh.
- Brush the pear halves with lemon juice.
- Put the scooped out flesh into a bowl and add apples, celery, crabmeat, onion, parsley and Dorothy Lynch Home Style to moisten.
- Season to taste and mix well.
- Spoon mixture into the pear halves, arrange on a bed of lettuce, and garnish with thin slices of unpeeled apple brushed with lemon juice.
