Sweet and Tangy BBQ Sausage

Ingredients
  • 1 (13-oz.) smoked sausage link
  • 1 1/2 green bell peppers
  • 1 med. onion
  • 1/2 c. Dorothy Lynch
  • 1/2 c. of your favorite BBQ sauce
  • Prep time: 10 Minutes
  • Cook time: 15 Minutes
  • Serves: 4

The Method

  1. Slice the sausage into 1/4″ thick medallions.
  2. Dice the peppers and onions.
  3. Sauté the sausage in a large skillet, then add the peppers and onions.
  4. Let them cook 3 to 4 minutes.
  5. Add the Dorothy Lynch and BBQ sauce, cover and simmer for 5 to 8 minutes.
  6. Stir occasionally.
  7. Serve over rice.
